Feeling ill - what do you eat?

The best anti sickness food is ginger (as recommended to people on chemotherapy) but you say you can't manage ginger. Shame. I find a nice boiled egg surprisingly good. In the old days I would have a ginger biscuit or 5, or poached egg on toast. If you fancy poached egg on toast, I'm sure one slice of toast won't send your blood sugars sky high for very long.

I'm still delicate but going to try lidl protein roll and scrambled egg a bit later.

I'd eat a ginger biscuit

If you do search for egg drop soup @Debmcgee you'll find that many call for cornflour/cornstarch (high carb) to thicken - it's not traditional or necessary so I just leave it out.

Also - google low-carb ginger biscuit recipes :)
