Feeling Lightheaded and Shaky?

HI i have been on metformin for 15 years and have been put on insulin recently i have 10 units before breakfast and 10 units before tea and was ok now i seem to be felling light headed and shaking but my levels seem to be ok 6.1 on my fasting and 8.2 after my breakfast so i am a bit confussed why i feel like this

Hello Pam - Before you started on insulin, were your blood numbers a bit higher? Sometimes Hypo symptoms appear at well over 4 if the person's body isn't used to running that bit lower.

The other thing I might to check, if it was me, would be blood pressure as lew or pretty elevate BP can also cause lightheaded feelings.
 
What insulin are you using? Is it a slow release long acting one or short acting one?
Your doctor may have used the terms basal or bolus
