you put the keywords "natual (sic) foods for lowering blood pressure" in your google search. According to Tesco 1/2 an avocado contains 1.7 g of carbs so that makes 3.4g per fruitIf you care to read the keywords I put in the search engine, namely "avocados carbs" ...... One avocado is 9 g. Quite high for some people here, but not me!
I'm not sure what this link is supposed to show? Its just a google search page with lots of results from odd websites..?

Where did you get that idea? Avocados are very low in carbohydrates. According to the Australian Calorie King website - 100g Haas avocado has 0.6g of carbs and 2.8g fibre.Freema avocados are high in carbohydrates
That was my first thought. I used to be on 50mg of Losartan but they couldn't get that one so the pharmacist gave me 25mg ones instead. When I took my first 2 I felt quite itchy but after taking them the next day my eczema flared big time and I was very itchy and my doctor prescribed antihistamine tablets. They changed me to Candasartan which causes no issues.Really, could you be suffering from a reaction to Losartan?
If you read the list of possible side effects in the packet, it might be that.
I can't help with your symptoms etc but my pharmacist suggested I got a pre payment card for my prescriptions. It's a fixed amount every 3, 6 or 12 months and even if your prescriptions increase, it's the same price regardless. I pay a little over £10 a month so I'm currently saving approx £15 a month as I have 3 prescriptions. Hope this is useful to you http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/1127.aspxYes, I think you're right with your advice. It isn't just the discomfort with my legs but it's also now the concern with my blood pressure. I have a feeling that the Losartan isn't going to have much effect on lowering my BP and think my Dr will either have to prescribe a totally new med or something to go alongside it. Great, more money on more drugs.
Hopefully, I can catch up on some sleep over the weekend and try to unwind a little, although it's going to be easier said than done.
Hope that helps.. and now you can eat more avocados.

or maybe adjust your dose and still eat less carbs?
You never did answer my question about what you have against the LCHF diet..No need.
if you hit reply at the bottom or put @ infront of the person you are replying to's name then they will see it - otherwise its easy to miss replies. You said I was sceptical and I replied I amn't. It works for many. You must have missed my original answer.
I asked my endocrinologist whether I should go on LCHF and he said it wasn't for me. I have always been careful about food. Fry ups have never had an attraction! I eat seeded oatcakes in preference to oatcakes. I have stopped for the time being the odd croissant in Pret.
Please can you stop pursuing this! Cheers!
@tigerlily72 - if you are seeing your doctor, please ask for your B12 levels to be checked as a deficiency can cause similar symptoms to the ones you describe.
