I went for my appt with the DSN today and so glad I did. Little recap, saw practise nurse a couple of weeks ago and she said she wanted me back on metformin but I refused because they made me feel ill but I wanted to try victoza but apparently its not licensed... :/
Anyway, DSN said that my HbA1c related to 6.9 which in her eyes was good and she feels that my diet and exercise is working for me and I don't need metformin or any other medication right now. She seemed very happy with me. I'm to go back in 6 months for a review which I am happy with
I've lost a stone since April, its coming off slowly but surely and as well as keeping a close eye on what I eat I am walking 10000 + steps daily, I've recently taken up cycling again and the difference in how I feel is amazing!
