feeling really unwell

As Jardiance is a glucose lowering drug that can cause Hypo's the GP/DSN should be providing strips as it states in the advice paperwork that you should be testing regularly.......I'd challenge the GP'/DSN's advice and ask him for strips.........they wont like it but persist especially if you drive as you need to be able to test.

I've got a meter just can't seem to get hold of the lancets

You can buy any lancets from a pharmacy if your GP won't prescribe any. It doesn't matter which type you buy, they all do the same job with any meter. They are only finger prickers.

Some lancets don't follow the identical profile of most, so probably best if @paultrust can persuade his GP to prescribe, or take a lancet to the pharmacy when making the purchase.

The iBG lancets were quite different, if I recall correctly.

Feeling better this morning, not 100% but better, so see if I can get doctors appointment for today !!!
