feeling sick and weird head

@Chris_Tilley - It may all seem a bit scary at first with all the information on Diabetes. But, take one day at a time and in your own pace. Have a good read through the information from daisy1 and don't be afraid to ask questions. There will always be someone on the forum to answer. Everybody is helpful and supportive to each other on here.:)

thank you,it does take some getting used to:)

yes I will do, i have problems with my liver and pancreas and stomach and diverticular disease so I get a bit unsure of which does what , now diabetes has really thrown me :( I will see what Dr says tomorrow thank you
Hi,Dr says it's probably side effects from my medication, not just for the diabetes but other stuff too, but to get my eyes checked and the pressure behind them

been for a check up today, now I have 'done' 4 weeks, not got to go for a year now, unless liver blood tests still not good, also have to see someone about my toe, need to get used to all of this asap

Hi @Chris_Tilley,

It is not set in stone that you have to wait another year before you have another diabetes check. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment if you feel the need. Usually newly diagnosed get an HBA1c test after three months and depending on that result may be seen again three months later.
Have you been provided with a testing kit?

hi, not, no testing kit, just blood tests in April , she said there will be plenty of time for testing 'later on'

Personally I would not be content to wait on someone else's idea of when you should start testing. I was refused a test kit by my surgery and was told that it is not necessary for a Type2 to test. So I bought my own kit and test every day how else do you know what's going on with your diabetes. This of course is just my opinion but it is shared by the majority here I think.

Hope you feel better soon and best of luck.

John
