Feet

Hi, I have a small hard lump with a white dot in the middle on the sole of my foot, pharmacist says it's nothing and ignore it but I'm not so sure. Its painless. I dont want to waste my gps time (that's even if I can get an appointment) do I leave it?

You could show it to a private podiatrist. It is best not take risks with your feet, and pay for an opinion from a podiatrist, and treatment. Or, if you are reluctant to pay, the other option is a referral to a NHS podiatrist, through your GP surgery. However, at least in my area, you would have to wait minimum three months. At a guess, it could even be a small corn, but this is NOT a diagnosis.

Just to be on the safe side, get an appointment with a local Chiropodist.
They get very booked up so best to start your journey early. Good Luck.

Evening @lynnw79 and welcome to the forum.

We cannot speculate about the cause of your skin lesion for sound reasons, but you are type 2 diabetic, so I would ask a chiropodist to remove it before it becomes infected, Money well spent, IMO. Better safe than sorry.

Btw, your GP could refer you to a podiatrist on the NHS, but seeing one privately is probably quicker.
