Hi All

I am a passionate low carber. I dropped pasta, rice, spuds and baked products and bread 10 months ago. The only food I missed was bread. For years I had ate high quality bread from Waitrose i.e. walnut etc. I now eat the Fergus Jag banter and I love it.

I was interested in the name, so Googled it. Jag Bantar translates into "I am banting". Apparently,in Sweden, "banting" is still the word most commonly used for dieting to achieve weight-loss, after William Banting (The father of the Low-Carbohydrate Diet.)

I'm delighted that Fergus is marketing his bread now and wish him every success.

Thanks Fenster, Sue and chocoholic.

Can a low carb bread sell like hot-cakes? My electricity bill says yes.

Where do you get Fergus bread from? I'd like to try it because I'm doing well at low carb...but God, I'd love a bacon sarnie...

Yep I have had some of Fergus's bread. Here's the results. pre eating BG reading 4.1. I had three slices  with egg mayo made with three eggs. 1 Hour later 4.9. 2 hours later 4.2. The bread is fabby and I am def getting more. Thank you soooooo much Fergus!!!!!

This is an old thread and Fergus hasn't posted on the forum for quite some time.
