Hi,

Still trying to get my head around things...

Currently on one metformin. Can I take that anytime of the day with food? Or does it have to be breakfast?

Will soon be up to two. Can I take them both at once or does there have to be a space in between?

Also, been eating low carb and high fat. What about saturated fat? Is that no good?

They need to be taken with or straight after food so best after breakfast and again with or after the main meal and yes you do take them together. Saturated fat is the amount you are happy eating there is no right amount some eat a lot some not so much

I take my Metformin one at breakfast time, and the other one at my evening meal.

Just be careful if you are not on a slow release Metformin and you do take them both together, you might get the scours and other gut problems.
 
There's nothing wrong with saturated fats at all. It is a healthy fat. I avoid the unhealthy fat such as vegetable oils.

Yes, look at the ingredients list as veg oil is just about present in all processed foods. It is the cooking oils such as you would use for frying (those that are liquid at room temperature) that are man made polyunsaturated fats that are inflammatory and unhealthy in my opinion.

NB although olive oil and coconut oil are fruit oils so these are considered healthy.
