Fiasp: my experience

I agree exercise definitely helps. I also think I need a pump (or, at least, I'd like one!) but my consultant suggested we try Fiasp first... I'm giving it another few days, then I think I'll go back to Novorapid.

I firmly believe the pump (OMNI POD for myself) when used properly will make not only your life but your diabetes SO MUCH BETTER!

Fiasp works well for me so far - have been pumping with it for about 8 or 9 months now - definitely helps my after meal spikes. I did get some sore cannula sites but this seems to have calmed down recently. Before fiasp I was pumping humalog.

Spot on mine stopped overnight. Jabbing double for breakfast than I was 2 weeks ago and correction. Today ended up jabbing 28 units for 80gms carbs, jabbed a unit every 15 minutes. Diabox set to minutes it starts dropping instantly about 2 or 3, then rises again. Took me 5 hrs to get over breakfast. GPS diabetic nurse never heard of fiasp... she only deals with type 2... hospital pointless. Cannot keep this up. If you switch back to novorapid does that work like before fiasp?
