Morning all

kept my diabetes under control for six years now after all the invaluable help from this site .
I’m needing to ad fibre to my diet that doesn’t push my BS to high ( I tried organic bran flakes but tricky to get under afterwards )

has anyone got any tips ?

Try psyllium husks fibre from Holland and Barrett, they sell ones sugar salt and starch free. I have taken these with plenty of water before a meal with no problems

Green veg!

If the need for fibre is bowel related you might want to try full fat Greek yogurt too.

Needing to go more regular Bulk

Hi barrym

already on the total .

I find seeds help. Start with a tablespoon of milled linseed or soaked chia seed a day. Build up to 3 tablespoons until things start to work regularly then cut back to 1 tablespoon, or whatever amount works best for you.
I have mine with greek yoghurt for breakfast
