I've written in general chat as it is not about me and the person isn't diabectic.
They need a field vision test to be able to drive - but as the DVLA & SpecSavers have agreed a contract so you can only go to Specsavers to get it done.
In comes Covid19 and the DVLA have advised SpecSavers you can not carry out this test - so if you don't get one done privately then arrange your doctor to write a letter from this report you can't drive - I don't get it if SpecSavers can do the test why have the DVLA said don't do them.
She has now arranged a private test so is on the way to getting this sorted but it took us a lot a effort to get to this point.
