Type 1 Fifty years on insulin

Hi.
Last month I had been on insulin for fifty years.
My doctor has given me a letter describing how I have been on insulin since 1975.
My question is do I still receive a gold medal for this achievement ?

I think the charity still gives them out with a valid “receipt”from your GP?
