finally going to get sorted with my T1

So today, I spoke to my DSN. I have an appointment next monday. I have really appreciated the advice and info from people on my previous feeds ad have ordered a couple of books off Amazon "Think like a pancreas" and Dr bernstein's diabetes solution. I will be asking also about the courses available to educate myself further.
 
Really please that you have spoken to your DSN fingers crossed all the help you need will be put in place for you.
 
Thanx huni. Its gonna put my mind to rest as ive not seen her since well before xmas and my levels are still between 13-18, jus a quick question; jetones being at 0.2 is ok isnt it? Am i right in thinking as long as its below 1.5, il be ok and anything over 3 is ketoacidosis??xx
 
A ketone level of 0.2 is fine, but do keep an eye on it until you get your bg levels down. Good luck and hope the appointment and the reading goes well.
 
Ok thank you @noblehead, This water infection is makin it impossible to get them any lower no matter how much i try and correct!

i was having a quick look at your profile after reading your latest topic and noticed you are from buckley
i only live about 15 - 20 minutes from you in a village the other side of Mold.

I also noticed from your profile and posts that you are struggling sometimes and feel a bit isolated.

if you wanted to i would be happy to meet you for a coffee in mold and we could have a chat .

if not no worries....

hope your infection is a bit better than yesterday and bloods a bit better too !

Hey,cezli84,Happy your getting in the groove,and good advice,if you get a read out of your blood sugars etc,that will help you see whats been going past 3 months ( Hba1c)
 
Well done lovely, best decision. Ask them what they would do if in your shoes.

It will come good, having the right attitude to sorting it out is the job half done, let us know how you get on and hope the water infection is getting better x
 
Hi cczli84, Just wanted to add my support! I too have been struggling to get my blood sugars down. Good luck with the DSN, and hope the infection clears up soon.
 
Thank u all. Well after another high fasting reading and increased thru the day to in the 20's i had a nice long chat over the fone with my DSN and she has increased my doses again. Hopefully over the nxt few days it will be better xx
