I took my first shot Monday and I didn't notice anything much until Tuesday. I definitely feel a bit nauseous and seem to feel full really quick. Like where I can't eat but maybe half of what I could before (and still be hungry). The shot itself was a bit painful but I read to let it warm up before you use it so I know better next time.Super news - do keep us posted how you get on. Your experiences will be helpful to many.
That’s good news on all aspects, slow but sure. Nice to have an update. Thank you.Ok folks time for an update. I am slowly getting more used to the drug a little less nausea and feeling kinda "ick" with it and I feel like I can eat a bit more (maybe not a good thing).
My fasting sugar was 171 this morning down from 185-190 before starting and I'm down 7 lbs so that's promising. I was hoping to be further along but my doctor seems happy and said he will be increasing the dose next month to 5ml so maybe that will help move this along a bit faster.
Well done, slow and steady wins the race!Ok folks time for an update. I am slowly getting more used to the drug a little less nausea and feeling kinda "ick" with it and I feel like I can eat a bit more (maybe not a good thing).

Hi @DeB200 & welcome to the forumHello everyon! I’m a total beginner to all this stuff so please bear with me…
I was initially on just Metformin but after a while I was started on Forxiga and to occasionally take Gliclazide if my BM was too high. I have now been given a Px for Mounjaro (2.5) but I have been told two different things, and I’m getting rather confused by it all.
Do I have to continue with the Metformin and Forxiga when taking the Mounjaro? I have never had a Hypo, but plenty of Hypers, but I’m a bit worried about the combination of all of these will induce a hypo. I can’t use a BM monitor because my dogs decided to have a bit of a chew and I’m embarrassed to admit that to the Dr’s!!
Does anyone have any experience with taking all of these things?
Thanks in advance
slower weight loss imo is better more likely to keep it off that wayQuick update since I have been on the 5ml dose for a few weeks now. My fasting sugar is down to the mid 160s so making some progress there.
Unfortunately I am only 13 lbs down over almost 2 months which I feel like is slow. I am feeling more normal now but the appetite suppression seems to have worn off a little bit which is disappointing. I was hoping for more results with the weight loss so hoping the next dose up (7.5ml) will speed that up a bit since my doc is telling me the best thing I can do to get my sugar down is lose the weight.
