I am thinking of starting Finasteride, but I am worried about its teratogenic effects. How long would it take for the drug to fully clear from the body, before starting to conceive?

Your profile lists you as Male. Is that incorrect or do you mean affects on sperm?

Your doctor will advise you about any possible problems with that drug and how long you shold delay trying to conceive @carbolysis
