Finger prick tests

Ok so I am type 2 but use insulin 4 times a day, this morning I did a finger prick test & it came out at 10.7 i thought that was high for me so did another one in the other hand finger that came out at 7.7 anyone else ever done this
 
Hi its Chris, that also happened to me once but then I re-read the instruction on the lance thing and it does say for best results wipe away the first blood and squeeze the finger again to get a second drop. That should hopefully give you a second, more accurate reading.
