Try contacting your meter manufacturer. I know some people have had a great deal of success convincing manufacturers to replace broken finger prickers FOC.

yep, just give the manufacturer a ring and tell them it's broken or something, they'll send a replacement. You can do it in an email to the customer services too as long as you give them your address and meter serial number they should send you one.

They dont make their money on the prickers or the meters, they make their money no the test strips, so they'll pretty much send anything out you need so that you(or the NHS) keep buying their strips!

Hi all Just started with the jabs and was given this state of the art aviva nano
but my GP tells me the needle carterages are not available on the NHS
Has anyone had similar comment? :?

I've just issued a prescription for Steven's tonight ! I will see what the pharmacist produces and let you know. Sometimes it takes time for the computer's drug list to be updated and this could be the problem.

Got the prescription fine. The test strips are the same as for the aviva and the multiclix lancets are what you want. These were in the Scottish Gpass system which is rather shabby compared to most systems so you should be able to get them fine.

That's tosh lol. I got mine on prescription no problems. You get 204needles in a box, that's 34 drums.

The PIP code for the prescription for the multiclix lancet drums is 317-1220
