Why did my fingernails turn 1/2 reddish orange. I have had diabetes for 27 years and am in control, but my nails have just turned color?

not sure about this one, why they have turned reddish orange, have you tried surfing the net on finger nails with diabetics.
Some of my finger and toes nails have gone like a green colour and now look like a budgies beak. The doctors have seen my nails but have never comented
