Well 3 months in and just been to nurse. Bg down from 7 to 6.1. Blood pressure was 149/62 now 130/62. Lost 3 stone on low carb diet.
A decrease in symptoms - only getting up max 2 times a night, dry mouth improving and generally feeling more inclined to do things. Diet has been a little boring but now getting more adventurous. Anyone out there struggling it’s the longish haul I’m afraid but appears worth the trouble

It sounds to me as if you are doing fantastic. If you have not already done so I would highly recommend getting a meter and testing at home. This will let you know immediately if your food adventures are working out all right for you.

Keep up the great work, you are doing a fantastic job
As for a boring diet I can only recommend you pop to the deli and get a tonne of garlic, chilli, coriander, basil, paprika etc. You will be surprised how yet another chicken salad can become a comforting and good for you.

edited because of a duplicate superlative.

Great job! Well worth the trouble but the trouble part is short lived. Keep it up.

Diet has been a little boring but now getting more adventurous.

I suppose it helps to discover what you can enjoy...
