Initial diagnostic one was 59 on 24th October, then repeat check 2 weeks later was 54.
Immediately started LCHF.
Had stage 1 of review yesterday. Bloods done. Just checked results, and my HbA1c is 37!!
Have also lost 4 stone. (3 of that since I got first result- was doing slimming world from July: lost a stone, then kept losing and regaining the same 2 lbs, but it sort of melted off with LCHF)
Still have 6 stone to go, but am pretty pleased with myself.

Thank you.
I must say it hasn't always been easy. Particularly when someone is having toast at work. Or chips with vinegar. (And I don't even like vinegar on my chips, but the smell gets to me!!)
But I'm a nurse and I've seen the complications of diabetes. It has been a very powerful motivator for getting my act together. Just need to maintain it now.
