my first nigth time hypo

it really scared me i checked my bloods when i went to bed and they were slightly up 9. at 10.30 and at 12.45 i woke up feeling strange got out of bed i was shaking and sweating tested and my bloods wer 1.0 never been that low before and have no idea what caused it.... took me a while to get back off to sleep. but feel fine this morning .back to my usual 6

Re: my first nigth time hypo

it must be the time of year, id a unexpected hypo of 1.7 last night before bed and theres no reason why i should have, strangeee

Re: my first nigth time hypo

Must be! I had a very unexpected 1.6 at 5am this morning. Just at the time when you don't have much longer left in bed before the alarm goes off but early enough to make me knackered

Re: my first nigth time hypo

omg hehe was it a full moon or something :D

well got over that hurdle lol x
was really worried about going hypo in my sleep. but as my nurse said the body wakes you felt very shakey drank some lucozade and felt better xxxx it droped to 1.8 funny thing was it was slightly up when i went to bed so not sure what happened there. though i did see my consultant who said that now ive had the diabetes diagnosed for 7 months i may start too lose some of the good control i had. any body else had this ??? something about the honeymoon period being over but this is the only dramatic change ive noticed just the once. i have pretty good control 99 percent of the time. and my hb1ac was 6.1 so i think i am doing ok

Re: my first nigth time hypo

still must be lol i did it again last night  hehe

hya ,
after the honeymooning things can change :) but sounds like your doing really well and that hba1c is great for so early in your diagnosis,
dont worry and keep asking the questions :D
