Flashing Avatars

Can I make a personal request I'm new to the site and will not be able to stay if people use fast flashing avatars as they affect my epilepsy. I'm sorry to make a request on my first day but it is hard when I can't read the whole post due to one or two avatars and I thought if you don't ask you don't find out what peoples reception is like. Thanks for reading.

Sorry to hear your reaction to the avatars. Don't have a solution for you. Perhaps some of the people with these avatars will reply..

See if you can disable them in your browser?

you can disable all Avatars in your User Control Panel for this Forum...

Click on "User Control Panel" -- in the top Left of the screen
Click on the "Board preferences" tab -- along the top
Then click on "Edit display options" -- listed on the Left
Then select the "No" option for "Display avatars:" -- in the list
Finally, scroll down and click the "Submit" button -- at the bottom of that page

Thank you ever so much, that's a lot better I've never seen that on a site before.... Problem sorted, well yours are all gone so I presume the rest of the site will be the same. Thank you for the welcome..and thanks Catherinecherub and Terminator 2 for answering as well.

Hi. wow that was brilliant pianoman so easy to see exactly just what to do.
