Flatulence

Over the last couple of months this has become more of a problem,feeling bloated all the time

I was talking to another guy at work and he was having the same problem, he said this could be diabetic stomach

Does anyone have the same problems?

I am on 2000mg metformin and 25mg Empagliflozin

It's a very common side effect with Metformin. There is a slow release version that is apparently easier on the stomach than the standard type.

Hi there, I can concur that I suffered from significant flatulance when on metformin. Speak with your doctor or DN about and hopefully you can get change d knot another drug.

That could easily be the problem. You're lucky if it's just flatulence.

But have been on SR metformin for 12 months now,thing is this has just started to happen probably about 6 weeks ago I have another review in about 5 week so will ask then
