Decided to try the Montezuma's 100% chocolate (currently £2 in Sainsbury's) and was very surprised my blood sugar rose so much within half an hour (I ate it after the 4.7 reading). I had about 25g which is 2g of carbs so I'm guessing it must be the caffeine.Interested to see if this happens to anyone else. I would say taste wise it's ok but would probably be nicer with an added flavour.
How about melting the 85% chocolate and then either adding sugar free flavourings or chopping up strawberries or grating some Lemon or lime zest and mixing in then freezing. Yum!!
