Flax Seed Oil

I am Type 2 been Diabetic for about 10 years now, not on Meds and I dont monitor my blood Levels, always had good Hba1c levels around 44.A few months back I started taking a daily teaspoonful of Flax Seed Oil dont really know if it dose you any good wont know till I have my yearly check up that's 2 months away, dose any one take this and dose it actually help any info on it would be a great help

my husband takes it as a supplement to help with a skin issue he has. He isn't diabetic.
I take it in seed form to help my digestion.

We both find it useful but not for blood sugar levels or diabetes. Have never heard of it promoted for those reasons
