Crowds of people, my idea of hell would be a huge gathering of any sort!

Heights, scare me to death!
Liars, cheats. poseurs, any kind of violence, thieves and people who take advantage of others.

The way the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

Global warming, the melting ice caps, whaling..I mean what for?!

Cruelty

Having to give up my eat everything philosophy..and I really really dislike consequences.
I saw on our news yesterday that the UK is flooded again. It looks just dreadful and I sincerely hope that no-one on here is affected. I have relatives in the UK although they seem to have kept their feet dry!

Everyone okay?

its terrible around us, just 5 minutes down the road have had no power for days but we seem to have escaped phew, thanks

Wales took a direct hit when the storm came, especially in the south. There's a stream behind me that's swollen, I can see a tide mark on the fence bottom so im hoping it dont burst. Other side of fence flattened.

Yes thanks. Went for a walk on the beach here in Gower..... Was a bit dodgy due to high wind but very exhilarating. Me and the dog had it all to ourselves... all three miles of it! Fab :)

A bit exposed to the weather here in Kent. The wind took a metal shed away, did strange things to the greenhouse and a polytunnel will never look the same again. Nobody is hurt but Christmas was a low key affair.

There were three of us who had electricity cooking in a kitchen for fifteen people sitting in the dark who did not have electricity. It was Christmas on wheels since the food left here in the boot of a car. Not what you call a hardship. I got a free cocktail sausage wrapped in a slice of bacon out of it.

When you think of the people in the hurricane and others in difficulty it does not seem to be much of a problem.

I have decided to wait until the weather improves and then to see what needs replacing. Not a big deal.

I know, what a shame, right through Christmas as well.
Poor folks.
I really do hope most of those effected have their insurance policies up to date.

Thoughtful post. popsy.

willie.

Not to bad over here in south east Wales, river wye up but not folding. The major problem here seams to be road traffic accidents, what with falling trees, black ice and the low sun on whet roads, We have had some very severe ones and at least 2 people killed yesterday :(
