Flu and honeymooning

So for the past 2 days I've had flu and my sugars are running higher than normal,I'm not quite sure what to do.Currently on no insulin and I'm a little uncomfortable with my sugars running high,yesterday morning's reading was the highest since been diagnosed last year in july of 8.4,normally anywhere from 5.6 any advice would be much appreciated

Have you tested for ketones? I'm on insulin and generally don't start to panic until I get to 11+ but I have the insulin to help.

Keep testing lots and if in any doubt, speak to your DSN.

You should have them on repeat prescription being a type 1, but you can buy a box of 50 Ketostix from most chemists for around £4.
