Flu jab today

I had my flu jab today.
I asked the nurse if it would affect my blood sugar levels and she said no. Anyway during the afternoon I checked my levels and they were low. So I treated myself to a biscuit. Guess she was wrong

It did for me raised them a bit

Feel really unwell so i think that's my day over

had little if anything side effects other than high levels for a few days

Had my flu jab yesterday.

Whilst taking the hit I asked about the “Covid.”
Nurse leant in & said, “you are too young.”

I’ve had double jabs in the past with no issue including a surprise swine flu jab.

In my experience. It don’t make me impervious to flu. Just takes the edge of it if it’s going around.?

More a 48 hour inconvenience as opposed to some sort of “shamanistic delirium” that lasts a week, till I get out of it.

Hi @helenb1979 I had my jab last week.
I was under the weather with mild flue symptoms for a couple of days it nothing to bad, run down, brain fog and lethargic , it passed fairly quickly.

Hopefully you should be feeling better soon.

I’ve had double jabs in the past with no issue including a surprise swine flu jab.

Swine flu is the only flu I have contracted (at the same time as my wife) in all my life. Oh what fun!

Had the flu jab today. Within 4 hours I was at 22 . 6 hours later I’m at 15 after eating eggs and no carbs. Hoping that it should settle by tomorrow.

Swine flu is the only flu I have contracted (at the same time as my wife) in all my life. Oh what fun!

My son had it when it first surfaced but was too far in to have the Tamiflu. I had the swine flu vaccine but developed shingles a knock on effect, never again I felt pants.

I had shingles, but am unable to date exactly whether both things happened within a short time. An interesting, but awful thought! I'm glad we live to tell the tale!

I got mine Tuesday night, and felt a bit yucky for a few days with blood hovering 9-10ish which usually happens when im sick.

Ive not gone near a jab since. Have terrible side effects from them all. I had nerve pain for about a year after, just terrible

Thank you for letting me know about this. I’m getting my flu jab on Tuesday. However this will be the first one with diabetes although I’vt had it since I was younger with my other health issues
