Hi,
I’ve noticed a very high spike in my blood sugar after eating small amount of carbs and needing to take double or more amount of insulin this last week to bring levels down. This hadn’t happened after my flu jab before but I wasn’t 65 then!
They’ve added this additional Fluad to boost immunity and I wondered if this is causing it?
Anyone experienced the same and how long did it last - I normally gave great control of readings.

Flu vaccines change each year to attack different variants.
As a result, our body may find some variation easier to fight than others.

I had my flu and covid jabs at the same time (in the same arm) and saw a small BG rise but I couldn't tell you which jab caused it.

There are 2 different versions of the flu jab, normal for under 65, and an attenuated one for overs. Correction the other way around.

I had my flu & Covid jabs on Saturday & some really high readings on Sunday & Monday then it started to settle back to normal by Wednesday - I assumed it was my bodies reaction, creating antibodies etc. Hope you settle back down quickly.
