Hi ladies and gents.

Today ajay had his flujab after picking him up from school

evetything was fine until 1.45am

I was just woke up by my son who was all upset and flushed, telling me had pains in his tummy and he wants to be sick.

I bolted out of the bed let him be sick and checked his blood sugar which was 13.3

would this have anything to do with the flujab,has anyone elses children been poorly afterwards?

Not sure if this is flujab related or something else.

Do hope he feels better by morning :(
 
Sorry to hear you had a rough night with your son.
Is he any better now?

Can't comment on the flu jab as mine didn't affect me but possibly someone will help soon.

Hi angie.

Ajay had a very restless sleep and looks abit grey under the eyes but nowhere as bad as last night.

Hoping the temp comes down a bit more fingers crossed he has a better night.

Hi Tracey,

I've always had a bad reaction to the flu jab (unfortunately the one year I didn't have it, I contracted flu!), some people do react badly, I generally have raised blood sugar levels and I feel quite run down for a few days with all the symptoms of a bad cold. Fingers crossed, he should be okay soon. Keep him hydrated and keep testing regularly and check for ketones as well.

Hope he feels better soon.

We all used to have them as he was born 3 months premature but stopped when he was 3.

I'm glad he had it really hopefully in a day or 2 he will be ok.
