Flying Cats....

It's worse than that - I've got an English husband who's not only gloating about the Wales Ireland result, but is now grinning like a bloody monkey as England appear to be stuffing the Scots.

don't worry I wont let you forget it :), every team has its day ,just wasnt one of them for wales but they have had and will have many a good day again ;).... I like wales

Ooops!...and I'll let you into a little badly kept secret..I am a closet English woman, but have lived in Wales for 40 yrs so am almost native ;)

think of all the green valleys and singers you have left .......:D
Unfortunately all the valleys are now under water and the male voice choirs have gone on strike as they say that wearing snorkles is ruining their singing x

That's extremely kind of you Shane, thank you. Ummm, Here I'll just mention our stunning victory last year ;)

do you live near the coast ? are you getting bad storms too ?
Yep, eighty mph winds increasing as the evening goes on. Huge waves expected too. A couple of months ago I lost my garden shed roof in a gale and following last weeks storms needed major repair to a fence. I also have a caravan a few miles away, which is in the teeth of the wind and very near the sea. Hey ho, nothing I can do about it! Hopefully the media have done their usual winding up trick, and it won't be as bad as forecast. Gotta go now. LC dinner calls.

I'm in Sussex on top of a hill 242 meters above sea level and 30 miles inland, so I'd expect to see arks blowing past before we get flooded. But I am a little worried about trees blowing over onto my house or car in these high winds after weeks and weeks of rain have turned the earth round their roots to soft mud.

I live 40 miles from the sea but we have bad flooding ,lots of roads impassable ,fields flooded ,lots of rain forcasted and no where for it to go ,some people will have their houses flooded again tonight I reckon
