Hi all just joined first post, l have type 2 diabetes diagnosed September 2018. I went for my 6 monthly blood test on march 20th i also took a urine sample with me. My results came back on 22nd the nurse message me to say my Hb1Ac had slightly risen to 5.1 mmols and my cholesterol level had gone down. On the 24th i went to the loo in the morning and my urine was all foamy i went again later in the morning and was the same. I rang the doctors to try and get an appointment with my diabetic nurse but could only get one for the following Tuesday so i asked for the doctor to ring me back. He went through my results of my blood test and i asked him how was my liver and kidney function and said it was spot on so i didn't mention the foamy urine. When i went to see the nurse i took another urine sample with me i mention the foamy urine the nurse checked my results and said everything good, done a dip test and was all clear. She she will talk to the doctor and get back to me. The nurse message me back the next day and said "the foamy urine highly unlikely to be due any disease process with normal renal function and with a normal albumin and creatinine ratio in your urine I still have foamy urine,so I don't know what's going on and maybe someone can shed some light on this. Sorry for the long post but this is really bothering me.
