Could anybody suggest on type of low carb veggies please??

I was in impression that red lentils and chick peas contain more protein but now looking to some website found out, it actually contains high amount of carb too!!!

Wow, need to consider this now!!!

Thanks...

I am on a very successful vegan/veggie type diet, (with a little cheating in between as to stay normal).
found this on google which may be a little guide to low carb veg.
"Salad greens and other leafy vegetables -- spinach, parsley, Boston and romaine lettuce Asparagus, artichoke hearts, arugula, bamboo shoots, beet greens, cabbage, cauliflower, celeriac, chard, collard greens, cucumber, broccoli, brussel sprouts, eggplant, escarole, garlic, green onions, jicama, kale, leeks, kohlrabi, mushrooms (especially straw), mustard greens, okra, peppers (all varieties), pumpkin, radish, radicchio, rhubarb, sprouts (alfalfa and bean), string and wax beans, snow peas, Swiss chard, tomatoes, tomatillo, turnips, water chestnuts, watercress, yellow summer squash and zucchini."
best of luck and most of all enjoy your meals.:)

Thanks for the list izzi :) I knew some of them, but quite a few I didn't know

I am currently on 40carbs per day but when i was doing 100 i could eat red lentils (soup) and chickpeas (hummus) and i would eat any other beans too but obviously in small portions than usual. What is your daily carb dose?
