Food (Fruit & Vegetables) & Diet drinks for Diabetics

Please excuse my typing errors..its because im on an ipad and its easily done! :-)
 
Everything in moderation. Keep clear of canned fruit. Fresh is good but, strange as it may seem at first glance - frozen is even better because as soon as you pick fruit/veg natural processes do start to boost the suger levels. Frozen food is frozen very soon after picking and stops the conversion process - ergo it usually has lower suger levels than the equivalent fresh stuff from the shops. Best still is, of course, to grow your own if you have time.

Diet drinks are totally fine, there is nothing in them that has an affect on diabetic people. Go for the low caffeine versions of those drinks like Coke but other than that drink freely.
