I was unsure where to post this, and this is probably a question I should ask a dietitian or doctor.
The question is regarding portion size.
If I were to per say stay on my calorie and carb goal could I have as much as I want as long as it is within the calorie and carb? I'm pregnant and its very hard to try and diet (although I have been managing).
Example pasta one serving is between 28-40 grams carbs and 145 calories. A serving is like 2/3 cups.
If I were to lets say substitute this for spaghetti squash which is around 42 calories and 10 gram carbs per 1 Cup serving. If I lets say were a little hungrier than usual and wanted to have 2 cups and maybe even 3 (not saying that I would thats a whole lotta squash!) would this be okay?
