Just a bit concerned as I know the importance of checking your feet etc with diabetes...
At work earlier I stepped on a clothing security tag - the sharp metal pin. It went though my shoe and totally into my foot and it hurt like CRAZY when I had to pull it out... My foot was pouring with blood; should I get it looked at by the walk in tomorrow? I don't know where the tag was from and a bit worried about infection!!!

I would definitely get your foot checked, there's a high risk of infection so they may start you on antibiotics just in case, is your tetanus injection up to date?

sorry to hear you have injured your foot, that is a health and safety issue already at your works, you must never leave any injury unchecked, best advice get it checked and what advice you get to treat it,I hope it helps you.Must of been painful for you, best thing to do for your foot keep checking it keep it clean and prevent it getting septic, keep it covered try not to do to much on that foot f it bad, soon as you see some one medical they can advise better what to do. big hugs xx wishing you a good recovery

Thanks everyone...showed it to my mum whose a pharmacist she said it looks fine so hopefully no infection will follow!

glad your mum checked your foot, even if you see foot specialist or doctor let them double check it just to be on the safe side as with diabetes things do not always heal or adjust as quick, just take it easy with your foot, hugs xx
