Hello Everyone this is my first time here i am type2 and was diagnosed Sept 2010 and still not sure what i have got.I have read quite a bit of stuff on the forum and read of Fac ilitus on feet I have foot problems and the Doctor sent me to the Musco Skeletal Clinic who then sent me for a scan on my feet the diagnosis was Plantar Fibromatosis is thhis the same as the other one I also have Duprens Syndrome on my hands and the Doctor says they are both related . Any help out there?
 
The doctor is right, they are connected, seems to be a genetic thing. Caucasians of northern European descents tend to be affected more than other ethnicities.

There may also be some connection with Diabetes and affects of certain medications which affect wound healing.
