For Lucy expansion on dog forums..

I mentioned the dog website, because yes sitefiners also cater for dog owners... With a similar site to this one, but without a forum at the moment apparently that's coming soon..

Looking through it's pages, lot's of information, but pretty basic and mainly 'rule of thumb' information type of information, similar to how the front page on this forum works... Some information I would suggest is too basic and not exactly correct, not all dogs end up being fed once a day!

Can't wait until the forum opens, as I do wonder whether sitefinders realise dog diet is just as contentious as the diabetic diet! Not just the Raw V's dog food, but Brand V's Brand :shock:

The kennel Club is the governing body of the dog world, and it utter waste of time... The dog registration is totally useless and it's breeders accreditation scheme is also useless, and does nothing to even deter poorly breed dogs! And don't get me started about breeders...

Yet when it comes to dog welfare and guidelines of what criteria makes any particular breed 'fit for purpose' or what the dangerous dog act should be written, everybody looks to the Kennel Club!

And I do wonder what safe guards sitefinder has in place to ensure that people using it's classified page aren't puppy farmers etc!
 
I do not have a dog. I have no interest in dogs. And am unclear as to why you have singled me out to head this thread :crazy:

I merely pointed out that I can see no problem with the people who run this forum also running a dog forum. Or, indeed, any other type of forum.

Don't worry Jo you have to have dogs to appreciate them and I agree with you the Kennel Club is a total waste of space. There found something we can agree on. Good luck on the forum and do your best for doggie kind. You can rest assured I will keep well away as its bound to be a blood bath compared to the happy world of diabetes.
 

some raw and barf feeders can be quite aggressive and militant in their beliefs and quest to convert people. it is very much like the carbs v low/no carbs debate.
 
Hi I'm a dog lover, I used to work in a Kennels many years ago out in the countryside. It was a great Saturday job, so sad when it ended though. I do love most types of animals, and DOGS are included

My sister-in-law has to inject insulin into her cat as it is a diabetic. How strange I thought. :?

Surely there must be many animal forums around.

I have a dog from german shepherd breed, when the vet informed that my max diabetes patient,
I shocked and worried , know I use insulin for him ,I had study the above information ,
which has so many benefit for dog owner,,,
