For those struggling with "falling off the wagon"

I did the quiz very quickly and almost subconsciously and I came out as an obliger. True perhaps in some areas (work) but less so in others (diabetes and diet).

Me too - I was an obliger. The thing is though I used past experience to answer most of the questions. When I've finished having counselling maybe my answers will have changed? We'll see :)

I'm also an upholder - not actually overly surprised by that

Obliger

Obligers respond readily to outer expectations, but struggle to meet inner expectations. In other words, they work hard not to let other people down, but they often let themselves down.
Obligers may find it difficult to form a habit, because often we undertake habits for our own benefit, and Obligers do things more easily for others than for themselves.
For Obligers, the key to forming habits is to create external accountability.

For me, this is true.

Edited to say: Mine is more a matter of time than choice. I work FT and have three young children, so I don't have a lot of time for me, but when it comes to my career and my family, I put them first. Prior to having a family, I did take more time for myself.

Just done it again but specifically from the point of view of my experience with diabetes. This time I came out as a questioner - I think that's about right!

Just did quick quiz run through, and I'm mainly a questioner, which I think possibly agrees with the "moderator/evaluator" type that I was classified as at work.

I'm a rebel! I knew that ;) Not that great when rebelling against doing the right thing...

I can't listen to the podcast now, but I hope it's OK to mention Gillian Riley here, whose book "Eating Less" has helped me enormously.

I'm a questioner - I think some of my work colleagues would agree with that!

Another rebel here.
Not a surprise.
Sometimes I have the sense to resist my own tendencies... Sometimes not. Lol.

I love Gretchen Rubin. I find her incredibly useful. Im usually an obliger, but in diabetes I'm a questioner.

Questioner though I expected to get Rebel, because that's the kind of thing I generally get
