That sounds lovely, I hope they win unlike my team today who lose 5-1, grand children are a blessing and so full of fun and energy, is that him in the picture? So is he the next budding Beckham? I can't keep up with all the changing names in football these days. Tomorrow I thought I might attempt at having a serious look at my diet and cooking some good natural healthy food, boring when you are on your own but nevertheless a good exercise in motivation, hey this time next year I might write a cook book and you can co-edit with me ;):) xx

Wow that sounds such fun and very positive. In the pic are both on it one plays footie the other tennis and yes they are a bundle of joy I'm truly blessed and feel sooooo lucky. Yes it does need motivation and a big dose of self discipline too. Finally what is your team called xx

Arsenal is my team, I have 3 brothers so football was always big in our family, never missed a game when we were kids, now professional football is all about money and how much of a ridiculous sum you can earn. I hope you and you family have a blessed very positive day tomorrow and are full joy and fun. Enjoy every sec and remember to smile!!!! x

Dear notSoSweet2 i can't see if you're on medication or not I have been T2 for 10 years and 1year ago while in hospital doctors put me on 1 metformin and 1 sitagliptin. Diabetic team were fantastic and helped me put together meal plan. They suggested I follow a healthy diet me writing down foods I enjoy. Next we looked at types of meals I could make from this list and then wrote a menu for the first week. Then to buy the foods on the list once a week and it became so much easier each day to know exactly what to prepare and cook. Don't know if this will help you but if you put this idea along with other tips you've got then you will have got a bit further x

Sorry Montana, only just seen your reply. You are very fortunate to have such a great team, I know absolutely nothing apart from the very simple basics but thanks to people like you I am learning more and more all the time. I will however ask my GP if I can discuss or even book a double session just to chat about these things and put things into place, I do however also understand that their time is very limited which is why this site is so valuable and a great source of insight and wisdom x

Montana, what happened? How did you break your back?

Hi NSS2 I have just written you a post and then flashed up on screen a msg saying I'm not a member and deleted my post. It is so frustrating but apparently happens when my Internet signal strength is poor. I'm going to have to try and remember exactly what I had written but I've not got any time left at mo so just letting you know why I've not answered your post. Let's hope they don't delete this post lol x
