Forgot injection

Morning everyone, just realised I forgot to take long acting insulin (Tresiba) 60 units last night,any suggestions what I should do. Thanks
 
@dimartin73 - I'm not an insulin user, so can't comment, but I think @himtoo may be online at the moment. Hopefully he might be able to offer you input.
 
My DSN told me to ring straight away if i had forgotten my long acting insulin, but would usually be told to just take half the amount, so 30u for you.

If you normally take your basal at around 10 of 11pm? (It's 10.30am now.) then I would half the dose.

But After 6/7 hours late on the dose? Then it would be more like 3/4s the amount..

There's (in therory.) a 24 hour working profile on basals as a rule.
Then back to normal the following evening.

But I would keep a close eye on the testing.!

Tagging in @robert72 , he uses Tresiba. I'm a Lantus guy myself.
