Forgot my meds on holiday!

I need advice! I'm in Scotland on holiday from NI and have brought all my meds except my metformin (4 per day). I'm such an idiot! How do I get my hands on what I need for the next week and a half?
 
I had a similar experience a couple of years ago, I had an unexpected trip away and ran out of a med while I was gone. I just went into a Boots and asked if they could help me. They tapped into some computer records and found my prescription. I walked out not many minutes later with what I needed.
 
That would be brilliant! I was worried that as we have less familiar chemists over in NI that it would be an issue. I will go to Boots tomorrow and find out. Got to move my son into Halls of Residence tomorrow! Thank you so much.
 
I went to wales from Scotland a few years ago to see my parents left all my insulin at home in scotland, I went to local doctors surgery and they wrote me a prescription after I explained the problem ,
