ps are you logged in on a tablet or phone or what?Thank you very very much.@Administrator has been informed and will hopefully sort this out for you.
On my phone right now, but tried to login to the web version and it said I didn't exist. I tried to reset password incase I've got that wrong (which I don't think I have) and it says user doesn't exist. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. Must be me, but everything was fine until recently. I can mail some people, just not othersHi pickle, just tried to send pm and it said " you may not send pm to this memberps are you logged in on a tablet or phone or what?

I can reply to any already in my messages, just not send new ones
I have raised several problems I have had regarding entering /editing/ or similar admin tasks on this forum, but everytime I send a message it gets marked as SPAM and no one repkies. There is no Admin thread, so I am hijacking this one to try another way of getting through.
Problem Statement: I recently clicked Reply to a thread posting, but it came back with the full text from the post I was answering. Fair enough, but it was a lot of text that I decided I did not need to repeat in the thread, so I tried to Cancel. But there is no means of cancelling once the reply window is created. I exited, but now, everytime I log in, I get the same unwanted text loaded in the reply window, and again I cannot cancel it.
I have resolved it temporarily by backspacing over the unwanted text, the entering my new text, so it is only an annoyance. But please can we have a Cancel button under More Options?
Is that still happening? Do you have any screen shots? It's a strange problem and we can't replicate it so if you could share any more info that would be great. It does seem odd!
Sorry - email us directly at [email protected] or [email protected] - the SPAM filter is sometimes a little too protective.
You should be able to click on that box and choose to delete/select and remove the text? You should be able to click it, basically. Worst case scenario would be to post that reply and the box should technically empty if you can't delete text from it.
That feature should work as described above ^^ so the idea would be that a cancel button isn't required. But yes, Giv'll be on the case when back from holiday.
Must admit this is the first time we've seen this so we've added it to the log in case it happens to anyone again!Actually, I have discovered I can be halfway through a reply, and then exit to review other posts to get quotes etc, then return to the unfinished text, click on it to re-activate it, and continue with my reply. This is a useful feature i now use,so being able to delete the quoted text inthe reply box is all I need. Everything is hunky dory, with no changes necessary, Thank you. Case closed
