@Ickihum - I am the point of referral for all matters relating to the forum, whether function process, performance or member issues.
These days, Giverny isn't routinely working on forum matters, although over the last week or so, I think every man, and his dog, have been involved in re-stabilising forum performance.
@Tanandbald - There has been a forum issue over the last week or so which significantly impacted many users' experiences in an intermittent manner. It is felt the acute issue has been improved, but there are plans afoot for generalised forum performane in the pipeline, but I can't reveal any detail on those at this stage.
The forum has grown very significantly in recent times, thus putting the existing infrastructure under a certain amount of pressure. Providing a good user experience is important to the forum owners, but any changes must be made is a controlled and managed manner.
