How you do control thrush? My doctor said to wash everytime I use the toilet. This is nearly impossible especially when going out. Any tips ?

I can’t help regarding the thrush but you can get packs of moist toilet wipes about the size of a packet of paper tissues so they would fit in a bag or pocket easily for when your out - would they work for you?

Also I saw a thing on Dragons Den and it pops up on my Facebook but I can’t remember the name of it, it’s in a little container and I think you spray or put a few drops of it onto toilet tissue

Hi
I took Forxiga with no issue in my 30's which was stopped when I became pregnant. I took it again in my 40's and had constant thrush. A locum Dr told me to wash more and made me feel like it was something I was doing wrong but my husband who likes to home brew pointed out that sugar and yeast are always going to create this issue! I'm perimenopausal now which also impacts how my body reacts and I'm more sensitive so will not be continuing with Forxiga.
I did go back to my Dr and tell them their advice was distressing and challenged them to consider diabetes treatment for perimenopausal women with more sensitivity! Also our bodies have a natural balance which means excessive washing would increase experience of thrush!
