Im Type 1 and I have started using Forxiga 3 month ago. from starting the effect was excellent, my blood glucose stabilised and Insulin effect become faster/better. my insulin dose reduced by 30%, I have lost 4kg with in 2m.- i was so happy.
after 2.5m of using the drag, effect become less effective. it still works,but blood sugar is not stable as use to be at the beginning.
Did anyone uses Farxiga and noticed the same ?
 
It is a type 2 drug although some doctors may be using it somewhat off-label(?). In the UK, at least, Forxiga is only recommended for use in type 2 diabetes.

Are you living in the UK or elsewhere DUDO?
 
DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG. It is only aimed at those with Type 2 BUT can cause severe DKA in both Type 1 and Type 2. I nearly died because of these tablets. I was a Type 2 but they have damaged my pancreas so badly that I'm now Type 1. My blood sugars were so good but behind the scenes the tablets were shutting down my body. I was told that by the time I got to hospital I had less than 12 hours to live. Please consult your doctor and ask them to research these tablets. As a Type 1 you should NOT be taking them.
