Fragmin?

Any other ladies been prescribed fragmin during pregnancy? I have to inject it up until baby is 6 weeks old. I started it at about 16 weeks.

I thought I was used to injections being type 1 but these fragmin are painful!
 
Are they to stop blood clots? I remember having to inject something after my section that bloody hurt but nothing before.
 
Yeah it's blood clotting injections @claire1991 it is used after sections too. I have been given it due to type 1 and a family history of blood clots. I am hating them though!
 
I had them too. I went through IVF so had to take them from the moment I started treatment til 6 weeks after giving birth. I didn't enjoy them but it was all for a good cause as I have a blood clotting disorder (Factor V Leiden). xx
