Well done ! Glass of wine won't hurt you ! I have a few beers, bit carby I know but the alcohol negates it for me. I know we have to be careful with diet/lifestyle but think we all need the occasional treat.

Same thing happens to me - I've learnt to eat something (however small) when I first get up if I want to avoid my BG rising to uncomfortable levels.Same thing happens to me if I don't eat asap after waking up - my BG continues to rise until I eat..
