Type 1 Free Style Libre

I have been waiting since before Christmas to receive my prescription for the Libre sensors, is anybody else experiencing the same problem. I've been told there is a despatch issue.
 
Got one from asda. Current sensor ends in a week. Hopefully supply will be restored by the time my prescription is due.

Hi, I self fund. My local ASDA work out as one of the cheapest. (VAT exempt.)
The story I get. Is "2 to 3 weeks" wait. (My last one ran out 2 weekends ago.)

Lol, I don't deal directly with the Abbott website. But that still took some amount of "cunning" to register an account & purchase direct on Sunday? (Who knows where my order from there might show up?)

But hey ho. I survived many years before the Libre came along. (Or even a BG meter.) I can do another month. (Word is the pharmacies prioritise prescription requests.. ) as mentioned earlier. "I self fund."
 
I am a mixture of prescribed and selfunding. I am trying to control steroids. I test many times a day.

Don't look forward to multiple fingerprick but better than nothing.

Sorry if I came across as a bit curt. (In the written word.) Not my intention. :)
I also appreciate we've just had Christmas & new year fall on wrong days of the week? (Production leave booked & what not?) I work in engineering production & have just enjoyed an extensive holiday period break.

I share your sentiment. Anything is better than nothing.. I remember the days of peeing in a cup? :D
